My Story
ABOUT ME
My name is Claire Wurzer and I am from Fargo, North Dakota. I am pursuing a double major in Elementary and Early Childhood Education at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. I will graduate in the spring of 2019. I chose a double major because I especially love to work with younger students. The rapid growth and development at this stage is incredible. Being able to help students grow and learn about themselves and the world around them during this formative stage ignites a fire in me. I feel that it is so important to provide students with a variety of active ways to learn and will strive to give students opportunities to learn in unique ways throughout my carreer. I love to work with children and cannot wait to start my career of helping them grow, develop, and discover their potential.
Outside of teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends. They are my rock and support throughout my life. I am so grateful for them. I love to dance and to help others discover that they are dancers as well through teaching ballet. Dance helped me express myself as I was growing up, so I love to help my students find that outlet. In my free time, I love to cuddle up with a good book (especially historical fiction). I also have a great appreciation for a popsicle!
